This policy explains how the RETRUE mobile app requests access to features on your phone and how you can manage that access.
When the app asks for permission
When you use a feature that needs access to a protected part of your phone, the app asks for your permission before accessing it. The request explains what access the feature needs and why. You can allow or deny the request.
If you use Bluetooth pairing or control, the app uses Bluetooth or Nearby Devices access to find and connect to compatible RETRUE equipment. The name of the permission can vary by phone and operating system. If you deny access, the feature that depends on it may be unavailable.
How to change or revoke access
- iPhone: Open Settings, tap Privacy & Security, then choose the permission and change access for the RETRUE app.
- Android: Open Settings, tap Apps, select the RETRUE app, then tap Permissions and change the relevant setting.
Revoking a permission stops future access through that permission. You can grant it again in your phone settings if you want to use the feature later.
