FAQ

Will installing air springs increase the weight ratings of a vehicle?

No. Adding air springs will not change the weight ratings (GAWR, GCWR and/or GVWR) of a vehicle. Exceeding the GVWR is dangerous.

Is it necessary to keep air in the air springs at all time and how much pressure will they need?

Maintain the minimum 5 PSI air pressure at all times to keep the air spring in shape and ensure it moves throughout its travel without rubbing or wearing on itself

My system loses over 5 pounds of air a week. How do I find the leak?

Mix a solution of 1 part liquid soap to 4 parts water and spray it on the air line fittings, air spring, and compressor body and head (if you have an air compressor). If the fittings leak at the threads, tighten them or apply thread sealant. If the fitting leaks at the air line, remove the air line, re-cut it squarely, and re-insert. Here is a link for more trouble shootings about Air Line Tube leakage. If the air spring leaks, send a picture to contact@retrue.com or contact our customer service to check warranty coverage.
