RETRUE Widened 2-5/16" Trailer Coupler Lock

This lock is easy to operate, and I like that it has a push button to lock, so that you do not need to struggle with the key in place to lock it like another type I have. It fit my 2” ball hitch well. The lip that locks the trailer hitch is larger than my trailer and looked like it could be slipped out, but I tried moving it in all directions and it would not come out, so it is good for hitches with a wide lip on the end but might not work with very narrow ones. It is quite compact for storing in the spare tire area of my vehicle when using the trailer. The lock itself is very solid and would be close to impossible to bust apart.

This is a really sturdy and well built product. It feels really substantial. It looks very easy to assemble and will be a great addition to our trailer because it will add that extra layer of security that we need. I like that it is a 2 inch hitch because that is fairly standard for our area, and the whole thing looks really impressive .

Good quality lock, I had to take a grinder to the inside groove to get it to fit my dump trailer but it works great. (Had to grind off very little)

4 stars because it did not fit my hitch, but was made very high quality, I wished it would have worked for me.

Item seems to be a solid lock. It did not fit my style of adjustable trailer tongue.

Great coupler lock, it locks onto the coupler and i also lock the ball in place so its 2 locks in one!

Have had plenty of others throughout the years. Last one o had to cut off because I couldn’t locate the key. So to replace it I bought this. Only mistake I made was buying the wrong size. That was ok though. I was so impressed I kept it and ordered the correct one.

Works well. Would like to see it a little tighter around the hitch but it works.

This trailer lock is very easy to install and comes with clear instructions. It is very heavy duty and is built well. It seems to be doing the job. I’m not really seeing any big issues. It fit perfectly and looks good on.
